SPECIAL REQUEST

Geoff Thompson, reporter on the 7.30 program on the ABC is producing a three-part special about superannuation.
"We are looking at the success of the system for Australia but also some of it’s pitfalls and who is affected. More than anything it is an attempt to assess where super is at more than a quarter of a century after it became compulsory."

"As part of this we are looking to find a couple who have done quite well out super – either by thinking about it and investing wisely for retirement or by belonging to super funds that have delivered outcomes that others miss out on. Basically we are looking for a couple who are quite happy with their retirement."

"I wonder if you may reach out to the community of retired teachers to see if any would be interested in appearing on a program. The segment would not be controversial in any way but it would be effective as a means of inspiring others to think about their superannuation earlier in life than many of us currently do."

A couple living in or around Sydney would be most convenient for us.
